Thorn's Double-Double Leads Ocelots to Victory

UNIVERSITY CENTER, MI – The Ocelots hit the road looking to stop a 2-game slide they are currently on.

The 1^st half would prove to be a back and fourth affair. No team's lead would get to as many as double digits as Schoolcraft would lead by as much as 9 in the 1^st half. Delta would push back and trim the Ocelot lead back to just 2 before Schoolcraft would take a 34-31 lead into the half. Marshall Thorn would lead the way for Schoolcraft in the 1^st half. The big man would drop 14 points in 16 minutes while logging 6 rebounds.

Things would remain close coming out of the break as Delta would knot the score at 42 a side just 4 minutes into the 2^nd half. However, Schoolcraft would make their push and separate from Delta. 6 minutes after Delta tied the game at 42, the Ocelots would reach a double-digit lead with a 59-49 lead. Things would remain around double digits for Schoolcraft as the Ocelots would close out with a 9-point victory. Kaden Huston led the charge with 11 points off the bench for Schoolcraft in the 2^nd half. Thorn would tack on 4 more points and 8 rebounds while playing all 20 minutes in the half.

Thorn would finish with 18 points and 14 rebounds while Rael Cochran (11), Holdyn Bringham (10) and Kaden Huston (14) would join him in double-figures.

Schoolcraft returns to the floor on Saturday, hosting Detroit Community Christian College looking for their 2^nd win in a row. Tip-off is slated for 3:00 PM.
