Kebbe and Alvarez Each Earn Hat-Trick in 10-4 Win

GRAND RAPIDS, Mi – The Ocelots hit the road to finish off MCCAA play for the 2024 season facing off the Raiders from Grand Rapids looking to move to 2-0 against the Raiders for the season.

Schoolcraft would set the tone early in this matchup. Victoria Kebbe would put the Ocelots in the lead in the 2nd minute while Jessica Clyde would follow that up with a goal of her own just a minute later in the 3rd minute. At the 25-minute mark, Schoolcraft would lead 4-0 when Clyde would score her 2nd of the game in the 15th minute and Daniela Alvarez would get her 1st of the game in the 25th minute. Kebbe would score again in the 40th minute as Schoolcraft would lead 5-2 at the half.

Just like in the 1st half, Schoolcraft would come out firing to start the 2nd half. Brynn Riley would score in the 47th minute and Victoria Kebbe would finish her hat-trick in the same minute. Alvarez would score in the 62nd and 80th minute to finish off her hat-trick. Mattie Gyiraszin would net her 5th goal of the season just before the game ended in the 85th minute.

Kate Shippe and Ava Martin split time in net with Shippe getting the start and the win. Each keeper would allow 2 goals while Martin would also stop 2 shots.

Schoolcraft's next scheduled game is not until the playoffs start in Marysville as St. Clair will host the Region 12 regionals. The schedule has yet to be announced.
