Ocelots Fall On The Road

JACKSON, MI – Looking to make it 2 divisional wins in a row, the Ocelots traveled out to Jackson College to face off against the Jets.

Schoolcraft would be able to jump out into the lead first, once again. In the 2^nd inning, Jacob Gresham would hit a single up the middle that would plate Andrew Thorning and Dominic Westfall. This marks the 3^rd game in a row that Schoolcraft was able to get on the board first, early in the game. Jackson would take the lead in the bottom of the 4^th as they would put up 4 runs, aided by a 3-run home run. 2 more runs in the 4^th would bring the Jackson lead to 4 runs before the Ocelots would be able to crawl back to within 2 in the top of the 7^th. However, that would not last long as Jackson would plate 3 in the bottom half. The 8^th inning would see the same result, Schoolcraft would score twice in the top half with Jackson scoring 3 times in the bottom half. With being unable to score in the top of the 9^th, Schoolcraft would fall by a score of 12-6.

The Ocelots will look to right the ship on Saturday as they host the Hawks from Henry Ford College. This will be the final 9 inning game of divisional play for the Ocelots. The game is slated to start at 1:00PM.
