Big Second Half Leads Ocelots To Win

GRAND RAPIDS, MI- The Ocelots traveled to Grand Rapids to face off against the Raiders looking to get back into the win column.

The first 20 minutes of basketball would supply some good back and fourth action as the score at the break would see Grand Rapids on top of Schoolcraft by 1 (30-29). The Ocelots would come out firing in the second half. For the 2^nd half, Schoolcraft would outscore the Raiders 41-33 to leave Grand Rapids with a 7-point win and their 2^nd win on the young season.  

For Schoolcraft, Daniel Lee would lead the offense with 18 points and also tie Ashton Henderson and Marshall Thorn for the most rebounds with 7 apiece. Other Ocelots in double figures would be the previously mentioned Henderson (11) and Thorn (16). Kechan Johnson would score 7 points off of the bench with 5 of them coming from the free throw line. Keon Henderson, Ashton Henderson and Mackhi Jackson would tie for the team lead in assists with 2.

Schoolcraft returns to the hardwood on Saturday, December 9, when they host Hocking College. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00PM.
