Schoolcraft Cruises Past Jets

JACKSON, Mi – The Ocelots hit the road on Wednesday to square off against divisional foe, Jackson College.

The Ocelots looked to keep their hot streak going while rolling into Jackson. Throughout the first half, Schoolcraft would not be able to keep the Jets away for long. Leading by as many as 11 in the 1st half, The Ocelot lead would only be 4 points going into halftime. Daniel Lee and Noah Rainge led the team in points in the 1st half with both scoring 8 points. Along with his 8 points, Lee would also come down with 7 total rebounds in the half.

The 2nd half would allow the Ocelots to create some space between them and the Jets. After Jackson would take a 40-39 lead 7 minutes into the 2nd half, Schoolcraft would go on an 11-0 run to take a 50-40 lead. From then on, the Ocelots would not let the Jets get on any type of run to get back into the game. With 17 more points in the 2nd half, Daniel Lee would make sure the Ocelots would get out of Jackson with a victory. Schoolcraft would outscore Jackson by 8 in the 2nd half en route to a 12-point victory.

Only 2 Ocelots would be in double figures for the contest. Daniel Lee would lead all scorers in the game with 25 points and Noah Rainge would reach the double figure mark for the first time this season with 10 points. Lee would also be the team's leading rebounder with 13 on his way to his 7th double double of the season.

Schoolcraft continues their road trip on Saturday, February 3, as they travel to Port Huron to take on the 13th ranked St. Clair Skippers. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
