Road Victory Snaps 3 Game Losing Streak For The Ocelots

DETROIT, Mi – The Ocelots hit the court on Wednesday at Wayne County looking to snap a 3-game losing streak. In what was a very lackluster offensive 1^st half with both teams shooting just 31% from the floor, Schoolcraft would find a way to turn that around in the 2^nd half to pull out a 59-52 win.

Daniel Lee, once again, would lead the Ocelots in points and rebounds with 19 and 15. This 19 and 15 performance from Lee would lead to his 10^th double double on the season. Coming out after this game, Lee is now averaging 17 PPG and falling just short of averaging a double double with 8.7 RPG. Joining Lee in double figures would be Ashton Henderson who would register 10 points.

Schoolcraft was able to turn their performance around by shooting 55% from the field in the 2^nd half while keeping Wayne to just 31.4%. Out of Lee's 19 points, 14 of them would come in this 2^nd half. 6 out of Henderson's 10 points would come in the 2^nd half as well.

Schoolcraft returns to their home floor on Saturday, playing host to Oakland Community College. The Ocelots came out victorious by a score of 76-57 the last time these 2 teams faced off in January. Saturday's game is "The Hunger Games" with anyone bringing a non-perishable food item will receive free admission. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Schoolcraft food pantry. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30PM.
