A Trio Of Ocelots Will Offensive Efforts To An Overtime Win

LIVONIA, Mi – The Ocelots hosted Oakland Community College and 40 minutes would not be enough for these 2 teams. Schoolcraft would keep the Raiders off the scoreboard to pull away in overtime.

Schoolcraft would need to key in on defense in this game to pull out the win like they did. It was an offensive struggle for the Ocelots all day. As a team, Schoolcraft would only shoot 34.7% from the field and 13.3% from deep. A trio of Ocelots would push the offense to just enough. Daniel Lee (14), Ashton Henderson (25) and Marshall Thorn (13) would account for all but 8 of the Ocelots points. Thorn would grab 11 rebounds, a team high, to register his 2nd double double of the season. Also grabbing double digit rebounds with 10 was Daniel Lee, registering his 11th double double of the season.

As mentioned earlier, Schoolcraft needed to key in on the defensive end, and they would. The Ocelots would hold the Raiders to just 33.3% from the field, including 23.8% from deep. To go along with the lowly percentages, Schoolcraft would force 18 Oakland turnovers while registering 8 steals and 6 blocked shots.

Schoolcraft hits the road for one final time in the regular season on Wednesday. The Ocelots will take the short bus ride to Henry Ford for a game beginning at 7:00PM. The last time these 2 teams faced off, it was the Ocelots coming out on top by a score of 90-84.
