#13 Schoolcraft Breaks Goals Record in Big Road Victory

PLYMOUTH, Ind- The Schoolcraft men's soccer team set a new program record for goals in a game with their 18-0 victory over Marian University's Ancilla. The win pushed the Ocelots record to 8-2-0, 5-1-0.

Dante Davidson got the scoring started early in the sixth minute when he would score his first of three first half goals. Others who would add goals in the first half would be Gavin Brose, Matheus Barbosa, Kellen Larson, Diego Ayala, Ethan Walker, and Kyle Wilcox. The score would sit at 9-0 after forty-five minutes of play.

The second half got started quickly as well and saw nine more goals from the Ocelots. The second half scores would be Diego Ayala (2), Dante Davidson (2), Kellen Larson, Kyle Jennings (2), Nate Boos, and Guilherme Gouvea. There was a plethora of assists throughout the game that saw the total reach thirty-two total assists for the game.

Brenden Ware and Vedad Vila would split the game in net with only Ware having to make a save as he made the first and only save that would be needed. Schoolcraft would outshoot the Chargers by a total of thirty-six to two. With three goals in the first half and two in the second half, Davidson would total five goals scored in the game.

Schoolcraft returns to the pitch on Wednesday (Sept. 27) as they face off against Ancilla again. The game will be played at the Ocelot Soccer Complex with kick-off scheduled for 2:30PM.
