#7 Schoolcraft Pushes Winning Streak to 9 Games

JACKSON, Mi- The #7 ranked Ocelots Men's soccer team went in the road to square off against a conference foe in the Jackson College Jets.

In typical Ocelot style, the first half would see lots of action in a short amount of time. In the 14th minute, Schoolcraft would break the 0-0 tie when Dante Davidson would get on the board with an assist from Gavin Lamere. Just a minute later, Lamere would push the lead to two with help from Diego Ayala. In just one minute, Schoolcraft flipped the game from 0-0 to 2-0. Dominic Maisano would get the lead to three in the 28th minute with an assist from Gavin Brose. Brose would get on the board himself to net the fourth goal on the game for Schoolcraft in the 30th minute. After 45 minutes, Schoolcraft would lead Jackson 4-0.

The gas pedal would continue to be pushed in the second half. Davidson would get back on the board in the 55th minute with help from Alex Wenske. In the 61st minute, Tommy Mittelstadt would net his fifteenth goal of the season followed by Brose's twelfth goal of the season a minute later. Abdulrahman Ahmed and Ahmed Hssain would each tack on one more each before the full 90 minutes would end. The final score would read 9-0 in favor of the Ocelots.

Brenden Ware picked up his seventh win of the season and lowered his goals against average to 0.76.

Schoolcraft returns to the pitch on Wednesday (October 11) as they host the #13 ranked Grand Rapids Raiders. Grand Rapids got the best of Schoolcraft last time these two teams squared off by a score of 4-0. Kick-off is slated for 3:00PM at the Ocelot Soccer Complex.
