Vanessa White Leads Offense to a DH Split With Henry Ford

ALLEN PARK, MI – It was the Ocelots and Hawks in an MCCAA doubleheader. These 2 teams split their DH the las time they played.

Game 1 – Schoolcraft would  out hit the Hawks in game 1 but would ultimately fall. Having 9 hits, Schoolcraft would only be able to put up 2 runs. Vanessa White, Madison Gray, and Sarah Collins would each have 2 knocks. The demise for the Ocelots would be not cashing in runners. Over the 7 innings, Schoolcraft would leave 11 runners on base. Shannon Mosesso, who got the start, and Alexa Swiatkowski would account for only 4 hits, 5 earned runs and 10 strikeouts in the circle.

Game 2 – The Ocelots would learn their lesson from game 1. Having 9 hits in the game, Schoolcraft would score 9 runs, cashing in with runners on base. In game 2, Schoolcraft would only leave 6 runners on base, compared to the 11 from game 1. Vanessa White would have 3 hits, leading the way for the offense. To go along with her 3 hits, White would also lead the team in RBIs with 4.White would show off her power as she would hit a big fly in game 2.Swiatkowski got the start in the circle going 3 innings and allowing 0 earned runs. Mariah Rodriguez would come in relief, going 4 innings.

Schoolcraft is on the road again tomorrow. The Ocelots will lead the bus and travel to the Eastern divisional leader, the Mott Bears.
