Schoolcraft Moves to 10-0 After Win at Macomb

The Schoolcraft Ocelots Women's Basketball team moved to 10-0 after a 79-52 win at Macomb. The Ocelots pulled away in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Monarchs 25-5. Defense was key in the Ocelots win being able to put up 16 steals on the night, 7 of them coming from #11 Hunter Conway, who also had 14 points. Schoolcraft was led by #12 Ruby Garner who put up 18 points on 6-13 shooting and 6-8 from the free throw line. #23 Samantha Smith was the leader off of the bench, putting up 29 minutes, 11 points on 5-7 shooting and also took part in the defense for the Ocelots with 5 steals of her own and 2 blocks. Schoolcraft returns to the court Wednesday, January 18, 2023 when they host Mott Community College where the Ocelots will be honoring former head coach Karen LaFata who spent 13 years leading the Ocelots and had a career record of 325-78.
