Big Start Propels Ocelots

Schoolcraft women's basketball was able to improve their record to 16-2 as they got a road win at Mott. The Ocelots pushed out to a 16-7 lead after the first quarter and never looked back as they wound up winning by a score of 58-42. Schoolcraft never trailed in the contest. Defense was the key as the Ocelots forced 21 Mott turnovers on the constest with 2 players, #24 Makaiya Thomas and #11 Hunter Conway, both leading Schoolcraft with 4 steals a piece. 3 Ocelots were in double figures, #4 Eve Parrish and #12 Ruby Garner led the starters with 10 and 12 points respectively. #35 Taylor Williams was the leader off of the bench posting 12 points. Schoolcraft looks to make it a 3 game winning streak on February 15, 2023 as they host Wayne County Community College at 5:30. Wednesday's game is the Hunger Games game where anyone bringing a canned or non-perishable food item will get free admission.
