The Schoolcraft Women's Soccer team fell in a heartbreaker on November 16,2022 in the quarterfinal round of the NJCAA Division 2 Women's Soccer Championships. The Ocelots fell to the #1 overall seed, Holmes Community College, in a game that went into PK's. After 110 minutes, the score was knotted 3-3. In the first half, forward, Ceceilya Mernatti would get Schoolcraft on the board to tie the game up at 1 less than a minute after Holmes jumped out to a 1-0 lead. The Ocelots were trailing 3-1 in the 85th minute when Katie Ferguson would draw the Ocelots to within 1 goal with a goal of her own. Just over a minute later, the Ocelots would knot the score up at 3 a piece on an own goal by Holmes. The overtime section was pretty quiet with no goals being scored in the 20 total minutes of overtime. Holmes would go on to win the contest in PK's with a score of 5-3.
