#8 Ocelots Fall in Regional Final

MARYSVILLE, Mi – The Schoolcraft women's soccer team faced of against the #18 ranked Kellogg Bruins in the region XI D2 championship game.

The game would be as typical as any other game for the Ocelots, plenty of shots with no finished opportunities. In the first half, the Ocelots would muster five total shots, with zero shots being on goal. There would be three corner kick opportunities as well for the Ocelots.

The second half would continue the trend. Schoolcraft would improve their shot total to seven shots and would force the Kellogg keeper to make six saves. Schoolcraft also had four corner kick opportunities. With nothing to show on the scoreboard, the game would be forced to go into overtime.

Schoolcraft would get one shot off, not on goal, before Kellogg would capitalize on their only shot on goal just five minutes into the golden goal overtime.

The Ocelots now shift their attention to the selection show as they will be hoping to earn an at-large bid into the national tournament in Arizona.
